We promote and maintain harmonious relations between people of different faiths in the city. We also promote the study of all religions so that the followers of one religion may have a better understanding of the other religions and be alert of issues peace, justice and tolerance in our city.
A circular route from the Centre of the Earth, 42 Norman Street, Winson Green, B18 7EP
A walk around the Soho Loop canal to connect with our local environment. Led by Jake Williams, Community Engagement Officer at BBCWT who will give a guide to local wildlife & history.
About the Route
A circular route starting and ending at the Centre of the Earth, 42 Norman Street, Winson Green, B18 7EP.
The route will take in the Soho Loop of the canal, a local community garden project and tour of the Centre grounds, ending with tea and cake
Total distance 2 – 3 miles on the level, all ages and abilities welcome
Led by Jake Williams, Community Engagement Officer at Birmingham & Black County Wildlife Trust.
Access: cycle or walk 1.5 km along the mainline canal from Brindley Place and turn right into Soho Loop at signpost, or buses 82, 87 or 88 to City Hospital on Dudley Rd and walk along Aberdeen St, Lansdown St and Carlisle St.
